A few short years ago, six to be exact, a young 7th grader by the name of PJ Duke embarked on his journey to stardom. PJ became the second ever wrestler to win a NYS Title as a 7th grader, with Norwich's Tristan Rifanburg being the first in 2010.
NY-USA Wrestling has taken a deep dive into the incoming Class of 2031. Seventh graders who are ready to start their journey, and make a name for themselves. Some will break the varsity lineup, some may wrestle for their modified team, and some may travel the youth circuit seeking out national level type competition.
We at NY-USAW wish nothing but the best to the next wave of Empire Staters. Regardless of where their starting line begins, the next six years of their wrestling careers will be covered by THE PREMIER NEW YORK STATE WRESTLING SITE

Narrowing down our extensive list from 100+ to 20 was not easy. Be advised, this is not a ranking, more so, a list of wrestlers to keep your eyes on for many different reasons, not just breaking the varsity lineup in 2025-2026.
