BATTLE AT BURNT HILLS GRECO-ROMAN & FREESTYLE FESTIVAL SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 2025 QUALIFIER FOR THE JEFF BLATNICK NEW YORK STATE BOYS & GIRLS OLYMPIC STYLE CHAMPIONSHIPS ON MAY 3-5

USA WR. AGE GR. DIVISIONS: All Girls & Boys are encouraged to wrestle GR & FS

Weight Classes: Madison Weight System used for all age groups.

BOYS 8U (Born 2017-18), 10U (Born 2015-16) , 12U (Born 2013-14), 14U (Born 2011-12),16U (Born 2009-10)

GIRLS 8U (Born 2017-18), 10U (Born 2015-16) , 12U (Born 2013-14), 14U (Born 2011-12),16U (Born 2009-10)

,*** If there are not enough girls in the 8U – 14U divisions we will bracket boys and girls together to make it Co-Ed. ***

Weigh-Ins: 7:30  AM Saturday Morning at Burnt Hills, (Greco-Roman & Freestyle).
* *ALL COMPETITORS (GR & FS) MUST be on time and WEIGH-IN BY 7:30AM * *

Weigh-Ins conducted with singlet on in the gymnasium. ** NO SATELLITE WEIGH-INS ALLOWED **
YOU MUST WEIGH-IN THE MORNING OF COMPETITION at 7:30am TO ENSURE WE HAVE EVERYONE IN ATTENDANCE AT

THE EVENT. We want to start on time.  If you are not there we will start without you.  No refunds.  WE WILL USE THE MADISON SYSTEM TO CREATE BRACKETS.

Cost: $50.00. Payment Includes registration for BOTH styles. (Pre-Registration only, NO Walk-Ins)

Online registration only & payment due by 12 noon on Friday April 25th, 2025. 
Ideally each wrestler will have 6 matches total: 3 Greco-Roman, & 3 Freestyle matches.
You may choose to compete in Freestyle ONLY, but the cost remains the same.

Format: 4-Man Round Robin. You will need to fill out two separate registration forms.
One registration for Greco-Roman, and one registration for Freestyle.
Period Length will be two, 2 minute periods (2 – 2) for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, & 16U.
Period Length will be two, 3 minute periods (3 – 3) for Juniors.

Wrestling Begins: 9am,.

● Greco-Roman will be first, and will begin as soon as brackets are ready.
● Freestyle will start as soon as Greco is completed, and when brackets are ready.

Awards: T-Shirts for Champions.
Concessions: There will be a full concessions stand available throughout the tournament.

Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Beverages will be available.
