Rationale:
Compiled an immaculate 4-0 record, highlighted by victories over a pair of fellow top-5 opponents as part of a collective mission that witnessed the top-seeded Warriors of Minisink Valley claim the third NYSPHSAA DI Duals crown in program history (he was part of the first two as well as in 2020 and 2022)! 

Description:
A young gentleman who throughout his career has elevated his performance to the next level at the NYSPHSAA Dual Championships; the six-year Warrior Varsity member has never known anything but finale appearances under the roof of SRC Arena in Syracuse...

His selection as this week's WOW recipient being as much of an an ode to an astonishing "lifetime achievement" as it is a recognition of an extraordinary weekend; in five appearances at this event, the #26 overall senior prospect in the Empire State has racked up a mind-blowing 19-1 resume (his only loss being a tiebreaker defeat in '22) in vaulting the Green & White dynasty to five finals berths (aforementioned crowns in 2020, 2022, and now 2025; runners-up in '23 and '24)!! 

His final voyage to the Onondaga Community College campus this past weekend without question being his most fruitful/prosperous; Tresch ran his winning streak at the Dual Championships to 12 in a row when swept a gauntlet of ranked and/or credentialed oppositions!

His individual brilliance showing itself throughout every stage of the festivities; NY-USAW's present-day #2 ranked 152-pounder [Tresch] notched his biggest triumph of the day directly out of the gates, as he'd break a 1-1 deadlock by converting a takedowns in the last 40 seconds of regulation and then rode out the remainder of duration to pick up a 4-1 decision over #3 ranked/2x State Qualifier, Chase Richards (Niagara Wheatfield), in a preview of a potential "Day 2" showdown on South Pearl Street! 

Two rounds later [Minisink Valley had the bye during RR2), he emphatically capped off a 2-0 vitae in pool-play when he stockpiled seven TDs as the core of a 22-6 technical fall against BBHVW's Thomas Tsoi (2x S1 placer/2024 runner-up)!!

Unshakable no matter how large the stakes grew deeper into Saturday's action; when the focus shifted to the Championship bracket; the consistency of Tresch's efforts never wavered as he'd again put on a clinic from his feet to the tune of seven more takedowns in the semis to topple returning Section 5 5th, Ian Pitt (Webster Schroeder) by a score of 21-5!!

The encore of his weekend every bit as substantial and impressive as his debut; in the "money dual" with his team leading only 9-3 at the time [later went on to cruise to a 51-13 conquest], Tresch again displayed nerves of steel as again he found himself in a 1-1 bout in the 3rd period...And identical to the Richards win; it would be him rising to the occasion when he secured the TD with 1:22 showing on the clock and then held his man down for the last 82 ticks to emerge as a 4-1 victor over Farmingdale's #5 (@160), Eric Wolf (2024 S8 Bronze medalist)!!! 

"Still On the Market" being the status of his recruitment (he does have a short-list though); we would encourage ANY/EVERY in-state DI program to have him on their radar!...

A born leader, as well as a winner on and off of the wrestling mat; he will enhance any environment in which he is matriculates!

As a junior, Tresch finished 3rd in NYS as the #7 seed in a loaded 145-pound bracket!
