NYS Director of Women’s Wrestling
As the director of women’s wrestling for New York I am pleased to
inform you that Amy Whitbeck of Section 2, Duanesburg HS, and TNT
Wrestling Club won the 96 lb weight in the Section 2 Class D
tournament. She is the first female to win a class tournament
in Section 2 and may be the first in New York State. I am not
sure how to research that. She is a sophomore at Duanesburg
HS. Amy was the runner up at Fargo this past year. She
is also the 2005 Fila Cadet National Champion.
