NY-USAW Membership Programs

As Chair of NY, I am proud to announce wrestlers and coaches will have two new and innovative membership programs to choose from:

  • Tiered Membership
  • High School Team Membership

The aim of these programs is to give as much flexibility, affordability, and value to our members as possible.

Tiered Membership Program

This innovative program consists of three membership levels

$15 Folkstyle Local Competition Card

This card is an affordable way for young wrestlers to get started in folkstyle. This is ideal for learning the sport and competing in local events to gain experience. The card carries $50,000 in secondary sports accident coverage.

$40 Full Competition Card

This card allows wrestlers to compete at State, Regional and National events in any style. Freestyle-Greco Roman-Freestyle This card carries $1,000,000 secondary sports accident coverage. No Restrictions

$100 High Performance Card

This card enables wrestlers to compete at any level and has many benefits, including a personalized plastic membership card, exclusive USA Wrestling video, national team posters, gear, and more. These include $1,000,000 secondary sport accident coverage.

  • There are no processing fees to purchase any card
  • Wrestlers can upgrade anytime by paying just the difference in price. NO FEES!

Wrestlers, Parents and Coaches now have a choice!!

High School Team Program

For a flat fee of $300, every athlete on the H S Team receives a $40 full competition card. All wrestlers listed on the roster and who attend the High School are eligible. Whether wrestling just one style or all three styles, this is a GREAT deal.

Please note: the high school team membership program DOES include 7th and 8th grade wrestlers who certify to compete in HS wrestling. Only those 7th and 8th who make the High School roster are eligible. NO MODIFIED!

With this HS Team Membership, the high school team will set up as a chartered club with USAW, which includes liability insurance for all club practices held between September 1, 2012 and August 31, 2013.   The liability insurance provides $5,000,000  in coverage.
